This new building located on Main South Road was designed specifically for Murray Implements, a retailer of large farm machinery. Consisting of a large workshop and warehouse area, a 2-storey office and showroom facility and a large rear canopy this build had a number of distinctive features.
A large specifically designed joint free slab was constructed under the canopy to handle the heavy machinery with no structural issues; this included a MAF approved washdown facility for receiving imported goods. In addition, installation of a 10-metre wide roller door with portable centre mullion was essential to allow access for the flow of large machinery to and from the warehouse area.
“We have found Hann Construction Company to be well managed by Jake Hann, with a professional approach to Health and Safety, financial accountability and environmental concerns. Hann Construction Company operates a well-managed building site with controlled access and procedures that anticipate the daily risks associated with construction in the Canterbury environment.”
