Kaiapoi Borough School

A new Technology Centre was completed at Kaiapoi Borough School in May 2021 replacing the existing block. This new building culminates the regeneration of the campus and will be used by the Kaiapoi Borough School Community and the surrounding area schools. The large structural steel and timber framed building sits on the boundary of Raven Quay fitting into the existing landscape while providing a state of the art technology facility for the primary school aged students.

The new centre includes a variety of spaces for multiple uses including:

• Fabric Technology Room
• Food Workshop
• Student Machine Room
• Two Hard Workshops
• Teacher Workshop
• Staff Office
• Collaboration Space with adjoining Breakout Room

The finished building is to a very high standard and will be a valuable asset for the community for years to come. Hann Construction was happy to be a part of this successful project.
