Kidsfirst Diamond Harbour

The new early childhood eductation centre for Kidsfirst in Diamond Harbour is a stunning building completed by Hann Construction in late 2014. The exceptional design and finish really complement the local surroundings, with a focus on sustainable products.

The zero-energy building has a range of integrated systems to provide a modern and comfortable learning environment for the children - Solar panels harness the natural resources and drive the full LED lighting fit-out and underfloor heating system.

We were the main contractors for the project undertaking all aspects of the carpentry with our highly skilled team and supervising and co-ordinating all subcontractors involved to deliver the building project.

Cedar cladding provided a sharp and timeless finish to the laminated timber structure with a counter-levered verandah providing a sheltered area for the users without any obstructions for safety.
